The Energy Bank Mobile Phone Application

Energy Bank Mobile is a FREE financial Mobile Phone Application from Energy Bank. With our Mobile service, customers of the bank can conduct virtually ALL banking transactions from anywhere in the World from their Mobile devices.

The Energy Bank Mobile Application is compatible with most mobile phone operating platforms, with each application tied to the Customer’s Local Currency Account after account identification & authentication.

Services available on the Energy Bank Mobile Application include the following:

·         Check your account balance & account transaction history

·         Request for account statements

·         Make transfers within Energy account(s) and Etranzact collected accounts

·         Make utility bills payments

·         Purchase Airtime

·         Hotlist lost or stolen ATM card

Energy Mobile using Application

1.     Customer sends D-Energy to the short code 1986 for MTN and 1401 to all other networks. The “-“means leave a single space. Customer receives a message on his phone with the link http://mobile.etranzact.com/ghana/EnergyMobile.jar. (For non-android phones)

2.     Customer clicks on the link above on his mobile phone to download the Energy Mobile Application on his mobile phone.

3.     For Android Phones, the application can be downloaded directly from the android market/Google Play Store.

Just type Energymobile in the search field.

4.     Customer completes the relevant fields on the downloaded application with his mobile phone number, account number and any memorable word of choice.

5.     Customer checks the box at the bottom of the menu to accept the terms and conditions and subsequently synchronize his mobile phone number with the account number at the bank.

6.     Customer receives the message “Your phone was successfully synchronized” to signify the end of the registration process.

7.     Customer can always access his Energy Mobile on his mobile phone by checking the Downloads column, Applications column or Games column.

Please note that the hyphen (-) in all the syntaxes is an indication to leave a single space.

MTN Users should always send messages to 1986.

Vodafone, Airtel, Glo and Expresso Users should send all messages to the short code 1401.

              Customers who use the GPRS option on the EnergyMobile application, 

               do not incur any SMS charge.
